Best-ever Scones


For 4 large scones

  • 150g self-raising flour
  • 35g icing sugar
  • quarter of a tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 35g unsalted butter
  • 15ml egg (about a third)
  • 30ml semi skimmed milk
  • 26ml low fat yoghurt (Onken set yogurt is best)
  • To serve:
  • Butter, the best strawberry jam you can find, about 30ml whipped cream
